NIRO™ AdBlue is a special substance based on the water solution with a high amount (32.5%) of carbamide/urea and used in modern diesel cars equipped with the selective catalytic reduction units. The urea solution helps decrease the emitted amount of hazardous nitrogen oxides to the level of Euro 5 and Euro 6 and significantly reduce fuel consumption. Thanks to dispersion the substance into the flow of engine exhaust gases, the chemical reaction is launched. In the process of the catalytic reaction, hazardous nitrogen oxides (NOx) turn into harmless water and nitrogen thus stringent requirements of modern ecological standards are met. The additive is safe for people and the environment, 100% bio-degradable.
