Valvoline additive for diesel fuel comprises detergents specially used for removal of deposits from the injectors of the diesel engine. Since diesel fuel differs from gasoline, detergents used for removal of deposits from the diesel injectors differ from the detergents for gasoline injectors. Increased lubrication of the fuel pump and injectors is required when sulfur is removed from the diesel fuel. It cleans injectors, helps remove water from the diesel fuel, lubricates injectors and fuel pumps when low-sulfur fuel is used; protects from corrosion, does not comprise alcohol.
